Safe Way to Transfer Items between Accounts: I was reading around some forums and found this post about transferring items on some FFXIV Gold of your characters from one account to another.
As the others said, Duey is the safest way to go, unless you have some very trustable friends to hold for you. It takes while, though.
The fastest and safest way of them all, is to be on 2 computers, and trade between both of your chars.
What I use to do is kind of risky, but chances that I lose my stuff are very small, as well. I put my mule/looter in some FM, (say 20), then I go in FM 20 on my main character, copy/paste my pin (so it’s faster to type it in when I relog), drop the item in a corner where people who enter the FM can’t see it at first, then log off, write your password really fast, hold ctrl, then press V (as you hold ctrl) as soon as the pin window opens, press enter, click your server, the channel you dropped in, and take your item (since you’re already in the right FM).
The whole process takes about 10 seconds. But then again, it’s risky for the weak-minded.
