Hybrid DK up to level 60++ - OK, there have been a bunch of these "starter tutorials" already posted, and I will be borrowing from most of them (I won't be quoting - people whom I'm "borrowing" from, thanks in advance, but I can't remember FFXIV Gold where I read everything)
So you've started off as a level 1 Dark Knight, and you're sitting in town in Lorencia. What do you do? Well, first off, you open your inventory (click "I") and equip your little axe...
That's all you've got (don't worry, you'll eventually have so many items, you'll be GIVING them away wholesale!), so time to close that window before you get depressed
Remember all the time, build your armor set gradually and keep adding your energy and you will soon find you become quite formidable and often under estimated by DK's!!
Maybe also guilds will have asked you to join by now? An e elf is very precious to a guild and is often the core to a successful hunting guild.
You'll probably see others calling it the East gate... they should be right, of course... it's just the screwball directions Webzen has implemented.
